Health Information Technology trains experienced people who can handle and manage the health information technology sector, which includes data collection and processing and data retrieval, analysis of health indicators, participation in expertise, system design and implementation (HIT) and take advantage of the use of information technology in the field of health information management and take steps to improve the quality and quantity of health care services.
Also, by maintaining the health information documents, they provide the information needed to defend the rights of patients and clients, health care institutions and staff, as well as the information required for educational, research, service and statistical applications related to various medical disciplines. In this regard, it also makes efforts to conduct applied research in the field of health information systems and participate in the design and collection of research information in this field.
