Vision Health Research Center

History

The Visual Health Research Center has been started in 2017 under the supervision of Semnan University of Medical Sciences with observance of research ethics. The center intends to use the knowledge, abilities and capabilities available in Iran and other countries in the field of ophthalmology to take effective steps to meet the current and future needs of the country in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. 

Goals

  • Conducting basic epidemiological and clinical research in the field of visual sciences, training of specialized human resources;
  • Increasing the level of public awareness of eye diseases; National and international cooperation
