About Library of MH

 

The library of Motamedi Hospital has books (Persian and English) in various fields of medicine, nursing, midwifery, etc. with the aim of improving the scientific level of staff and students and providing library services to staff.

The library of MH was established in 2007 in the former hospital (Imam Hospital) and was transferred to Motamedi Hospital in 2015.

The library system is open repository and staff can access the books they need. There are currently 330 volumes in the library of MH.

  • Preparing, organizing and maintaining valid print and electronic resources in the field of medical sciences
  • Helping to improve the quality of education and research in the hospital

  • Assessing information needs of the library community according to the occupational groups working in the hospital
  • Creating an intimate and friendly environment in the library in order to meet the educational and research needs of users
  • Collecting texts including English and Persian printed books

 

Goals

  • Identifying the needs of the user community and providing facilities to meet the needs
  • Providing and equipping a suitable space for storing resources and equipment, and enjoying libraries by most members
  • Ordering and purchasing printed resources
  • Planning to hold workshops on the use of information resources available in the digital library
  • Eliminating old books periodically and updating books in the library

 

Due to the fact that the library does not have a reading room, staff and students can coordinate with Ms. Habibi- librarian in the quality improvement office- during working hours and non-closing hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and receive the book they want.
