Duties of Management of Research Development and Coordination of Research Centers

  • Preparing the draft of regulations and research procedures for planning in the University Research Council and monitoring their proper implementation after approval
  • Secretary of the University Research Council, setting the agenda of the meetings and compiling the approvals of this council
  • Secretary of the Ethics Committee in Medical Research of University, Preparing the agenda of the meetings and compiling the approvals of this council
  • Announcing the minutes of research meetings and monitoring the proper implementation of the approvals of the Research Council
  • Following up of matters related to research projects of university researchers based on existing guidelines (including: approval of the plan, adjustment of costs, concluding a contract, extension of term, and settlement of accounts)
  • Providing facilities, tools and supplies required for plans and projects with the help of relevant units
  • Supervising the proper implementation of approved research projects through supervisors of research projects
  • Determining the research priorities of the university based on the needs and available facilities
  • Providing services and supervising research contracts of faculty members with other universities and scientific institutes
  • Supervising and following-up of matters related to university research centers
