Today, statistics and information is one of the most powerful tools for monitoring, evaluation, decision making and organizational planning. Promoting this science can play an effective role in policy making, planning and ultimately improving the provision of health services.

Statistics are prepared and adjusted in the process of analysis and compliance with standard statistical tables and determine how qualitative and quantitative performance is provided.

In the Management of Medical Emergency and Accident, statistical activity is performed in two parts: data collection and analysis. All statistics and information related to missions, special events and contingencies in the field of pre-hospital emergency (115) are collected daily by the Statistics Unit of the Management of Medical Emergency and Accident of SEMUMS and statistical data are prepared in the form of quarterly indicators, Trustees board indicators, statistical charts, statistical reports, analysis of results and statistical yearbooks and other statistical packages required for officials and experts.

Statistics of pre-hospital emergency missions are collected daily from the dispatch centers of the cities, collected in a provincial package, then sent to the North region of Accident Center of the country, and finally sent to Management of Medical Emergency and Accident after summarizing from all region universities. Statistics of special incidents are immediately reported to the EOC of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
