This office works mainly in the following fields:
- Correcting false beliefs and eating patterns in society,
- Preventing micronutrient deficiencies and implementing effective interventions in this field,
- Improving malnutrition of different age groups, especially vulnerable groups,
- Implementing the necessary interventions to reduce the increasing trend of non-infectious diseases,
- Implementation supportive programs to solve nutritional problems in society for certain age and physiological groups,
- Controlling the growing trend of overweight and obesity, especially in certain age groups such as children,
- Teaching the basics of healthy eating
- Cooperating intra-sectorally and inter-sectorally to improve community nutrition.
