This office works mainly in the following fields:

  • Improving malnutrition of different age groups, especially vulnerable groups,
  • Implementing the necessary interventions to reduce the increasing trend of non-infectious diseases,
  • Implementation supportive programs to solve nutritional problems in society for certain age and physiological groups,
  • Controlling the growing trend of overweight and obesity, especially in certain age groups such as children,
  • Teaching the basics of healthy eating
  • Cooperating intra-sectorally and inter-sectorally to improve community nutrition.
