Introduction of Oral Health
Oral health is one of the important branches of public health that has a significant impact on the overall health of individuals. Therefore, the Oral Health Office of the community has been established to train and provide dental services, primary and secondary preventive dental services.
Its staff are:
- Dr. Mohammad Reza Salmani as the Head of Office of Oral Health
- Dr. Mohammad Hassan Tajli as an expert of Office of Oral Health
- Mohammad Rostamian as an expert of Office of Oral Health
General Goals:
Promoting the level of oral health of the community by providing oral health education, preventive and health services and providing medical services
Intermediate Goals:
- Promoting oral health of children under 6 years old
- Promoting oral health of children 6-12 years
- Promoting oral health of pregnant mothers
- Advertising and educating oral health
- Planning to control infection
- Supporting offices of oral health
- Using Human resources and equipment optimally
- Distributing dental materials in health centers fairly and appropriately
- Training personnel for maintaining tools and equipment
- Following up the improvement of the physical space of the offices of oral health in coordination with the development office

Targeted groups of dentistry
- Pregnant mothers due to the prevalence of gingivitis
- Children under 6 years old due to maintaining the care of baby teeth
- Children 6-12 years due to the growth of permanent teeth and the prevalence of tooth decay at a young age
Dentists in dental centers provide the following services:
- Examining and training for all clients
- Extraction of non-maintenance teeth
- Repairing decayed teeth, especially for children aged 6-12 years, and restoring permanent teeth
- Scaling and brushing of teeth, especially for pregnant and lactating women
- Fluoride therapy for children under 6 years of age to prevent permanent tooth decay
- Holding training classes in health centers and homes for pregnant and lactating mothers, women of childbearing age, young couples and health liaisons
