Political and Social department

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing scientific projects to increase the organized participation of students in social, political and cultural activities of the university.
  • Communicating continuously with Islamic organizations and social centers of students in order to provide material and spiritual support for their useful and constructive activities.
  • Studying and assessing scientifically- continuously of the political, social and cultural tendencies and attitudes of university students in cooperation with the relevant department, in order to plan properly with conscious knowledge of the current situation.
  • Planning and implementing programs that meet the needs, increase awareness and strengthen the ability of academics to analyze cultural, social and political issues.
  • Investigating the norms, challenges, harms and socio-cultural crises of the academic community, formulating and presenting strategic plans to eliminate or reduce common anomalies.
  • Planning and implementing useful programs on national occasions.
  • Monitoring and following-up continuously in the implementation of directives, regulations and instructions of the Cultural Revolution Council and the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, the approvals of the University Cultural Council in the field of political- social issues related to the university.

 

Artistic and Literary department

Responsibilities:

  • Studying and planning to create a suitable environment for the flourishing of students' artistic- literary talents, preferably in the form of student clubs.
  • Organizing and supervising the activities of literary- artistic centers.
  • Educational, intellectual and equipment support for students' literary- artistic centers.
  • Planning to expand literary- artistic education among academic elements.
  • Studying and compiling appropriate plans to deepen human ethics, intellectual and religious foundations through literary- artistic programs among students.
  • Planning and performing literary- artistic programs in various events of university.
  • Evaluating literary- artistic activities and programs in terms of efficiency and effectiveness with the cooperation of the relevant department.
  • Following up and creating the necessary facilities for the active participation of students in national literary- artistic festivals and exhibitions.
  • Establishing and managing the affairs of the secretariat of the committee supervising university publications.
  • Planning and monitoring continuously of academic journals in order to improve their quantity and quality.
  • Supporting academic publications materially and spiritually.
  • Supervising and following-up continuously in the implementation of directives, regulations and instructions of the Cultural Revolution Council, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and the approvals of the University Cultural Council in the field of artistic- literary issues.

Department of Religious Education and Cultural Studies

Responsibilities:

  • Studying and planning to create and expand religious, intellectual and studying centers of academics.
  • Intellectual, educational and equipment support of religious, intellectual and studying centers.
  • Following up and supporting the religious activities of Islamic academic organizations.
  • Studying and developing an appropriate plan to promote the culture of research, thinking and dialogue in academics.
  • Planning and implementing intellectual, cultural and religious programs at the university level, especially on religious occasions.
  • Monitoring and following-up continuously in the implementation of directives, regulations and instructions of the Cultural Revolution Council, the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and the approvals of the University Cultural Council in the field of religious issues and studies
  • Following up and creating the necessary facilities for the active participation of students in national and regional conferences, ceremonies and religious programs.
  • Evaluating religious activities and programs in terms of efficiency and effectiveness and providing the necessary plans to improve their level with the cooperation of the relevant department.
  • Studying and identifying challenges, doubts and tendencies of students and academics in the field of doctrinal- intellectual issues and planning in order to create real needs at different intellectual levels of the academic community.

 

Extracurricular department

Responsibilities:

  • Studying and planning in order to create healthy and dynamic environment for students.
  • Studying and planning to improve the level of extracurricular affairs and filling students' leisure time.
  • Studying, policy-making and planning regarding long-term and short-term cultural, pilgrimage and recreational camps to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the camps.
  • Planning to implement the National Youth Tourism Plan and sending students to national camps.
  • Supervising and evaluating camping and extracurricular activities of student organizations and centers.
  • Supporting the healthy extracurricular activities of student organizations and centers
  • Planning and following-up affairs related to the sending of students, faculty members and university staff to Hajj Umrah.
  • Planning and conducting extracurricular training courses for students with priority on communication technology (Internet) and foreign language training.
  • Monitoring and following-up continuously in the implementation of directives, regulations and instructions of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and the approvals of the University Cultural Council regarding extracurricular affairs of students.
  • Studying, policy-making and planning for the proper implementation of students' graduation celebrations.
  • Following up of student marriage in cooperation with the Student Marriage Headquarters.

 

Training, Evaluating and Notifying department

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and holding courses and workshops on management and skills training for different sections of cultural management, organizations and centers.
  • Cooperating and supporting scientifically from other cultural management departments.
  • Researching, studying and providing useful suggestions in order to improve structures and executive methods of cultural, artistic and social activities of the university continuously.
  • Communicating and coordinating with cultural institutions, researchers and experts in order to establish cultural exchanges and benefit from useful experiences.
  • Leading the group for developing a strategic management plan of cultural management and continuous monitoring of the proper implementation of its various stages.
  • Compiling, operating and maintaining a software for registration and issuance of cultural, social and sports record of university students.
  • Developing and implementing research projects, surveys on cultural, social and political issues of the academic community
  • Creating, launching and managing the cultural management and extracurricular website of the university.
  • Creating, launching and monitoring student dormitory internet centers.
  • Creating, launching and supporting the sites of students' organizations, cultural and artistic centers.
  • Planning and implementing an appropriate program to increase the socio-cultural awareness of new students.
  • Planning to inform the members of the councils of student organizations and associations about the rules and regulations of socio-cultural activities of the university.
  • Evaluating the activities of different departments of cultural management in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Developing the performance of cultural management and extracurricular activities of the university.
  • Executive responsibility of the Secretariat of the Cultural Council of the University by supervising the Secretary of the Council and in accordance with the regulations of the Secretariat of the Cultural Council of the University.

 

Advertising and Audio-Visual department

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing all matters related to audio-visual programs and ceremonies of cultural management, student organizations.
  • Designing and implementing all propaganda affairs of ceremonies and events on national and religious occasions.
  • Designing and compiling information archives for use in various ceremonies and occasions.
  • Following up of cultural management publications.
  • Participating in advertising and decoration of exhibitions, festivals and conferences related to cultural management.
