Features of the center:

The Center for Vision Health Research has won numerous honors, including the largest number of articles at the International Congress of Ophthalmologists in Europe, the continual presence and influence in domestic congresses, the acquisition of top ranks at various scientific festivals, is now one of the most trusted centers for conducting Clinical trials. This Center has continued its research activities under the supervision of Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services on since February, 2018. And approved proposals of the Research Council of the Research Center are considered at the on Biomedical Research.

 

Objectives

1- Development and application of human knowledge in the field of science of vision in order to reform and provide health services

2- Epidemiological and clinical research in order to improve the provision of health services to meet the needs of the Islamic society.

3- Collection, adjustment and classification of documents, articles and relevant records and their publication

4. Teaching human resources in the field of eye diseases

5. Encouraging and employing scholars

6. Efforts to attract attention and cooperation of relevant research and development centers within the country

7. Scientific cooperation with the research and educational centers of other countries and international organizations in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Prospect and Mission:

The center aims to take effective steps to meet the current and future needs of the country in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, using the knowledge, capabilities and potentials that exist in Iran and other countries in the field of ophthalmology.
