Endometrial destruction surgery performed with the Cavatherm device in Amir al-Momenin Hospital

Dr. Sati Nik Darzi said: The only Cavatherm device in Semnan province is in this educational, research and treatment center as the reference hospital for obstetrics and gynecology. It is the first time to perform endometrial destruction surgery by thermal method using this device. Dr. Elham Safariah, an oncology fellowship gynecologist, Dr. Ali Akbar Hemmati, an anesthesiologist, and the experienced operating room staff of this hospital were present in the operating.

She continued: advantages of treating uterine endometrium with the thermal method are fast treatment, short recovery period, quick return to normal life, permanent treatment and satisfaction of the treated patients, and this method avoids performing invasive hysterectomy which is not pleasant for the patient.
