Semnan University of Medical Sciences has been ranked among the world’s top 800 universities in the Times rankings

In an interview with the university's Public Relations office, the President of Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services highlighted the university's inclusion in the Times World University Rankings. He noted that in its second appearance in this ranking system, the university successfully secured a position within the 701–800 band globally—an achievement that reflects the institution's significant academic and research capabilities, as well as the sustained efforts of its faculty members, researchers, students, and staff.

Dr. Ali Rashidipour added that Semnan University of Medical Sciences had previously appeared in the 1201–1500 global range in the 2024 Times rankings but was absent from the 2025 and 2026 lists. The university's placement in the 701–800 range upon its return signifies substantial progress across the ranking system's evaluation metrics and demonstrates its momentum toward strengthening its scientific and research standing on the international stage.
