A 42-year-old male patient, who has been receiving medical treatment due to ITP (disorder in blood platelets due to improper functioning of the spleen), underwent surgery. It was done according to the doctor's opinion due to lack of response to treatment. Also, the gall bladder of the patient contained many stones.
It was done by Dr. Setare Soltani, general surgery specialist, anesthesia team and experienced operating room staff.
The spleen and gall bladder were removed at the same time by laparoscopy. This surgery was successful and the patient was discharged with good general condition.
