The International Capacities of SEMUMS will be introduced

Dr. Ghods, Chancellor of SEMUMS, said: Training- providing capable human resources in national and international dimensions is one of the most important missions of SEMUMS.

He mentioned providing health services at the national and international levels as another one of these missions.

Dr. Ghods stated that the three main missions of SEMUMS are training- providing human resources at the national- international levels, providing health services at the national- international levels, and observing- promoting Islamic and spiritual values in the fields of education, research and treatment. He said: In the international education department, there are currently 274 students from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Iraq studying in fields such as medicine (MD and MBBS), dentistry, pharmacy, and physiotherapy, nursing, radiology and anesthesia are studying in both English and Persian languages.

He stated: According to the plans, in order to create educational- research opportunities and facilities to attract international applicants of various nationalities, relying on the great capabilities of SEMUMS, we take an important step in developing talents in the field of health in the international arena, which not only strengthens the scientific foundation of graduates at national- regional standard levels; but also, it causes an increase in the number of students interested in studying in SEMUMS with different nationalities, which subsequently increases the range of intercultural interactions between these students.

He continued: we believe in graduates of SEMUMS as representatives of knowledge and Culture of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Chancellor of SEMUMS stated: Considering the internationalization policies of the SEMUMS and the measures that are been taken at the university level and outside the country's geographical borders, there is an increasing interaction with leading universities such as Tehran University, Jamia Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya University, Qom University of Religions and Denominations, and updating the Educationiran website will introduce university's capabilities so that applicants can register in SEMUMS independently.

Dr. Ghods expressed: SEMUMS will soon enter the market of attracting international students from African countries such as Ghana and India, increase the number of students from other countries in the region, such as Iraq and Pakistan, and expand educational- cultural interactions with these countries.
