The International Office of SEMUMS in Georgia started its scientific, educational and research activities with the cooperation and participation of New Vision University of Georgia.

Dr. Ghods, Chancellor of SEMUMS: The establishment of the international office of SEMUMS in Georgia is aimed at developing cross-border activities and moving towards the internationalization of SEMUMS and expanding interaction in scientific, educational and research fields with the countries of the region.
Regarding the adaptation of the educational curricula of the Ministry of Health, Medicine and Medical Education of Iran and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Dr. Ghods stated: Considering the ranking of New Vision University in the Times Ranking (801-1000: Impact Ranking 2023), the medical and dental curricula of New Vision University compared to the national MD and DDS curricula, in the committee for adaptation of educational programs for international students by the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Medical Science Planning and based on that program Educational programs will be implemented in partnership with New Vision University.
He called this cooperation very valuable for the development of scientific, educational and research interactions of SEMUMS with the universities of the Caucasus region, and in line with the internationalization policies of SEMUMS and emphasized: due to modern hospital facilities and equipment, and experienced scientific staff, SEMUMS will cooperate with the International Academy of Sciences of Georgia to launch the International Hub of Medical Sciences in Georgia for the development of international activities including scientific, research and educational cooperation, publishing scientific-research quarterly journals, international conferences, launching Summer School, professor exchange and accepting international students to take specialized courses with Eurasian universities.
It should be mentioned: the process of establishing, launching, and managing the international office of SEMUMS in Georgia has started with the cooperation of the International Academy of Sciences of Georgia and the participation of New Vision University of Georgia, and the admission of international students in the two fields of medicine and dentistry has been put on the agenda of the international office of SEMUMS in Georgia since September 2023 in partnership with New Vision University.
